I loved my husband and adored our little boy. From the outside, we looked like the perfect family, and I never imagined something like this could happen to me.
But little by little, I began noticing disturbing changes in him. He grew irritable, distant, and often came home with a strange odor clinging to him. What unsettled me most was how our son reacted—every time his father tried to hug or kiss him, the boy would cry and push him away.
At first, I told myself it must be because of his rough stubble or his strong body odor. But my unease deepened after my son whispered one heartbreaking sentence:
– “Daddy is bad. I don’t like him.”

One day, I had to visit my mother in the hospital, leaving my son with his father, even though the boy clung to me, sobbing and begging not to stay. That evening, when I checked the surveillance footage, my bl00d turned to ice.
At first, the video showed my husband slouched on the couch, scrolling on his phone, ignoring our son’s attempts to get his attention by showing him toys. He brushed the child off with irritation, waving him away.
But when the boy began crying louder, everything changed. My husband leapt up, seized his tiny hands, and my son flinched in terror. Instead of comforting him, he shook him by the shoulders and screamed straight into his face.
I sat frozen, my heart shattering, unable to believe what I was witnessing. Yet in that moment, I knew I couldn’t stay with a man capable of treating our child like that.
The very next morning, I packed our things and left with my son. I handed the video to the authorities, and shortly after, my husband was arrested.
