One day, my husband went to the supermarket, and before he left, I asked him to pick up some sanitary pads for me. When he returned, he placed the exact same brand I always use into my hands.

Surprised, I asked, “How did you know I use these?”

He smiled softly and replied, “I remember. I’ve seen you pick them so many times.”

It wasn’t an elaborate answer, but it carried a quiet tenderness that moved me more than I expected.
