A girl in skimpy shorts tried to fli:rt with my husband – I made sure she learned her place

A young woman in tiny shorts tried to grab my husband’s attention – and I had to show this fli:rt a lesson.

My husband and I had long planned a vacation, but something always got in the way. Finally, luck was on our side: we both managed to get a few days off. We bought last-minute tickets, which left us seated in different rows. It didn’t bother me; what mattered was being together at the ocean. A couple of hours apart on the plane wasn’t important.

When I boarded and passed his seat, I noticed who was next to him: a girl around twenty, in skimpy denim shorts, bright red lipstick, and lashes so long they looked fake.

I’m not usually jealous, so I thought, “Fine, let her sit there.”

But about thirty minutes later, I realized she was acting far too boldly.

She leaned close to him, giggled at everything he said, though his answers were short and polite. From time to time she “accidentally” brushed his hand, asked him to pour her water, or take her purse from under the seat.

My husband stayed calm and uninterested. It all seemed harmless—until she suddenly stretched her long legs over the seat in front, practically in his face, clearly showing herself off.

That was enough. I decided she needed a reminder. Ladies, have you ever faced something like this? How did you react?

I stood, walked slowly down the aisle with a plastic cup of coffee in my hand. When I reached their row, I smiled at my husband and kissed his cheek. At the same moment, I “miscalculated” my movement.

— Oh, dear… excuse me — I whispered as a hot drop of coffee splashed onto her thigh.

The girl jumped as if stung.
— Are you crazy?! — she shouted so loudly that passengers turned their heads. — These are brand-new shorts!

I kept my calm smile.
— Yes, I noticed those shorts. You’ve been showing them off the whole flight, so it was impossible to miss. Maybe now you’ll sit a little more modestly?

She glared, snatched sweatpants from her bag, and rushed to the restroom to change.

My husband looked at me with a mix of surprise and amusement, as if to say, “You’re unbelievable.” I sat back in my place and, for the first time during the trip, opened a magazine in peace.
