Story 2:
A few months after my husband passed, I got into a cab in New York. I don’t even know why, but I started talking about him.
The driver just listened the whole ride. He didn’t try to change the subject or throw in fake “sorry for your loss” lines. Just silence and nods. That ride meant more to me than most of the condolences I got.
