My Husband Left Me for His Pregnant Mistress—Years Later, He Returned With Her Child and a Lie That Blew Everything Apart

This woman believed her husband had already done the worst—leaving her alone with two kids to start a new life with his pregnant mistress. But she was wrong. Years later, her ex showed up again, bringing even more chaos into her life.

This is her full story:

I’m 34, and my ex-husband, 36, walked out on me years ago when his mistress got pregnant. I’ve been raising our two kids on my own ever since. Last week, he suddenly appeared at my door with his daughter—the one he had with her—and asked me to babysit.

His tone was desperate: “My wife is in the hospital, she’s dying. I have to be there. I have no one else to ask.”
I refused. He immediately lost his temper, yelling, “If you don’t help me, you’ll regret it till the end of your days!” Then he stormed off, calling me a “heartless, cruel witch.”

Two months later, I’d almost forgotten about it—until I got a call from his wife, the same woman he’d left me for. She politely introduced herself (as if I didn’t know who she was) and asked if I’d seen him. I told her about his visit and his claim that she was in the hospital, “on her deathbed.”

She sounded stunned. “What hospital?!” she asked.

It turned out she’d never been hospitalized at all. She had actually been staying with her parents, joyfully announcing her second pregnancy.

Meanwhile, my ex had simply grown tired of his responsibilities as a dad. He had lined up a date with another woman and thought it was a great idea to dump their daughter on me—his ex-wife.

Now I keep wondering if I did the right thing by telling her what happened. She’s pregnant, and I know stress is the last thing she needs.

Still, I can’t shake the guilt that maybe I just made things worse. Maybe I should’ve stayed quiet and let it go.
