Add this to the water. Even if you don’t clean the floor for a week, it will stay clean without dust.

A few days ago, a lady who has worked in cleaning for over 30 years shared a little trick with me. Floors cleaned this way stay very clean and don’t easily collect dust.

Many people complain that floors quickly get dusty and develop a bad smell after cleaning. Especially in summer, if floors are not properly cleaned, each room can develop an unpleasant odor.

I just learned this simple but effective method. The first step before cleaning is to sweep the floor. If the house is dirty, cleaning becomes much harder.

Then, add the following to a basin or bucket of water to mop the floor:

– Add a little salt. Salt helps the floor dry quickly and also works as a disinfectant and sterilizer.

– Add a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Its strong degreasing power removes cooking oil and food spills, making the floor cleaner.

– Pour a little white vinegar or lemon juice. These soften stains and make the floor easier to clean.

– Add a bit of alcohol to disinfect and sterilize. This helps prevent mold.

– Add a little baking soda. This powder has strong disinfecting power and easily removes stains from the floor.

– Most importantly, add a little fabric softener. In summer, dry floors are prone to static electricity, which attracts dust and dirt. Fabric softener prevents static, keeping the floor free from dust and stains.

After adding all the ingredients to the mop bucket, stir well to dissolve everything. Then, dip the mop into the water and clean the floor as usual.
